Greetings all,
I just bought a new 509N and when I plugged it in, all that comes up is LOADING written on the scree and nothing else happens. It have had it connected for the last 24 hours and nothing is happening. Can anyone help?

Try doing a Factory Reset before contacting your supplier.
If switching off/on the device doesn't work, please follow these instructions:
1.Unplug power from device.
2.Take a small sharp object (paper clip) and press the reset button located at the back of device (keep it pressed for steps 3,4).
3.While you have the reset button pressed, power on the device.
4.Wait 3 seconds then release the reset button.
5.In the menu you see on your screen select "data/factory reset" and press ok.
6.Select "delete all user data"
7.Select boot now.

The 509N software is buggy and feels unfinished. It still freezes often and the loading screen is common and sometimes it will freeze too. I found turning off/on or pressing the back button usually gets it going again. Hopefully they fix these issues soon.

This start-up issue appears to more or less fixed following the release of their latest software :
